Memorizing Nativity Bible Verses
Are you considering making the Nativity a theme in your home this season?
Do you make verse memorization a regular part of your walk with God?
Maybe you face a ton of pushback and drudgery from the kids?
I personally thought it would be fun to memorize Nativity Bible verses this holiday season for a couple reasons. First, it’s an excellent way to keep ourselves focused on the true reason for Christmas. Second, it’s a good habit – memorizing bible verses. Keeping our hearts filled with the Word and ready on our tongue is a certain blessing! For my family, however, any kind of memorization we do ends up in tears and frustration. My kids don’t do well with that style of learning at all.
Finding a Method That Works
I knew I’d like to store some of these Nativity Bible verses in their hearts as a reminder throughout this season (perhaps while shopping), and future seasons, about the meaning of Christmas. However, if my kids are rejecting memorizing verses, how do I fill them with the Word in a way that really sticks with them?
This is Where the Memorization Game Comes In
As I began with above, I thought it would be a great idea to memorize nativity Bible verses for this year. I needed a way to do it that wasn’t seen as “work.” I’m working to keep our bible time seen as a blessing and not a chore; I hope to never make a relationship with God into a chore…
Then, I remembered this fun game method my son used to help him memorize some information in ABA. It was awesome! He was so excited and engaged. To this day, “scavenger hunts” (the method used) are a favorite of both of my boys! I decided this would be perfect and set to work on it! When Ana said announced this party, it thrilled me to get to bless more families with our game!

So if this sounds like something that would make your life easier, or help you keep Christ at the center of your celebration, then I’m thrilled for you to come grab your free copy! Hopefully, this is a fun new way to tackle memorization for your kids, to grow closer to Jesus, and to remember the reason for this season!
Merry Christmas and God Bless,
Jill
